5 Things to do this Easter

5 things to do this Easter

Happy Easter from Afordable Services

Well, this is not the Easter we all thought we would be having a few weeks ago. If you're unfortunate to be amongst those who have the coronavirus our hearts go out to you. We're all in this together and we can all still try to have a memorable Easter weekend planned ahead of us. If you're still working and are fortunate to have a bank holiday weekend, it’s time to take some well deserved time out. If you're unfortunate to be in lockdown and staying at home, hopefully you'll feel like doing some of the things we have listed you could do.

Take a Duvet Day

The few of you out there who fell into the "Have to Move" scenario, If you'r not unpacking from your new move, and/or are helping to "STAY AT HOME", we've got some ideas for you, provided you don't want to have a permanent duvet day.

Declutter

In this current climate with those of us with time on our hands, there is alway a good time to declutter. Take a good look at all your stuff and get rid of anything you don't need. If ever there is a time to be ruthless rather than sentimental, this is it. Make three piles for your unwanted items: Donate, Sell and Bin. Make three piles in an unused area. Once we all get through this and all the restrictions have been lifted, take that well deserved drive to a local Charity shop. When the car boots start up again, you can make a little money from your Sell pile. Things that are sentimental and are small and flat, scrapbooking is a great way to hold your memories close.

Catch up on that book you started

If you're in the middle of reading a book or thinking of starting one, let your self have a few hours of nothing and relax with the perfect book this weekend. Be it a crime novel or romance, get cosy and indulge your self in that much deserved chill time.

Have your first BBQ of the year

The weather has been hit and miss this year so far, saying that you may have had a couple of BBQs already. For those of you who haven't had the time or been lucky with the weather , this Easter weekend is the perfect opportunity to enjoy a glass or your favourite beverage along with what ever you indulge yourself on the BBQ.

Cocktails with that BBQ

There are some great mocktails out there if you prefer not to drink alcohol. You can google almost any drink today, and i'm sure you'll find something that makes you want to mix up that drink to celebrate the long weekend.

Finish your DIY

If you feel that you just can't relax and crank up the BBQ or chill and read that book, make yourself that mocktail and try and finish all those unfinished jobs around the home. This is the perfect time with the weather at sensible temperatures, the Autumn Bank Holidays will probably be too cold and you'r probably not going to want to go outside to do them. You'll feel so much better without half finished projects hanging over you. If you get them done you can utilise the other days eating out in the garden with a delicious drink, catching up on that much deserved read.

We would like to wish you all a Happy Easter. If you have any questions how we can help you when all restriction have been lifted, please do not hesitate to give us a call. Take Care and Keep Safe .

Thanks again

Phil
