Navigating narrow Devon country lanes required extra care during transport, while tight internal doorways and hallways demanded careful handling to remove heavy furniture without damaging wall panels or door frames.

Our Approach

Leon managed the drive along the narrow lanes smoothly, securing clear parking right next to the property for efficient loading. Inside, we divided the responsibilities according to our strengths. Tania packed delicate china, glassware, and sentimental ornaments individually in protective paper, preparing them for transport to a local auction house. Meanwhile, Phil and Leon focused on the heavy lifting, maneuvering mattresses, sofas, wardrobes, and appliances through the narrow spaces. Once cleared, Tania swept and dusted every room to ensure a tidy, peaceful finish for the owner.
