Our Goods in Transit Insurance Cover & Exclusions

To ensure complete transparency, it is important to know what is and isn't covered during a move. In the removals industry, certain items carry unique risks and generally cannot be covered by standard moving insurance.

Please note that Afordable Services’ standard insurance cover does not extend to the following items:

• Food, perishable goods, and livestock/pets

• Plants, jewels, perfumes, liquor, and mobile phones

• Precious stones, precious metals, and highly expensive specialty furniture

• Bonds, deeds, money, and legal documents

• Hazardous or dangerous materials (such as explosives or chemicals)

Important Insurance Conditions:

1. Self-Packed Boxes: Please note that our insurance cover is not valid for any items packed by you. Full insurance coverage applies to items professionally packed by the Afordable Services team.

2. Inventory Declaration: Insurance cover only applies to items that have been officially listed and declared to us prior to the move.
