Two-Van House Move – Cullompton to Mawgan Porth

Afordable Services planned and executed a seamless two-van house move from a listed building in Cullompton to a beachside home in Mawgan Porth on one of the hottest days of the year.

The Challenge

Having not moved home in quite a while, our customer felt understandably overwhelmed by the logistics and planning involved. The move required two full removal vans and careful handling to navigate the first-floor layout of a listed building in Cullompton. Carrying furniture down narrow corridors and under low beams on one of the hottest days of the year added a significant physical challenge to the day.

Our Approach

Tania worked closely with the customer beforehand to build a calm, structured plan of action to relieve the moving stress. On the day, dedicated parking right outside the Cullompton property allowed Phil and Leon to load both vans safely and efficiently. After a warm two-hour drive down to the Cornwall coast, the fresh sea breeze at Mawgan Porth provided a very welcome relief for the team.

The Result

Phil and Leon worked hard to unload both vehicles swiftly, ensuring every piece of furniture and box was placed exactly where requested. The swift delivery allowed our customer to settle in without fuss and begin enjoying their new coastal lifestyle.
