Finish your DIY If you feel that you just can't relax and crank up the BBQ or chill and read that book, make yourself that mocktail and try and finish all those unfinished jobs around the home. This is the perfect time with the weather at sensible temperatures, the Autumn Bank Holidays will probably be too cold and you'r probably not going to want to go outside to do them. You'll feel so much better without half finished projects hanging over you. If you get them done in the two days you can utilise the other two days eating out in the garden with a delicious drink, catching up on that much deserved read.

Declutter If you don't feel like doing any of the above there is alway a good declutter. Take a good look at all your stuff and get rid of anything you don't need. If ever there is a time to be ruthless rather than sentimental, this is it. Make three piles for your unwanted items: Donate, Sell and Bin. You could hold a garage sale or do a car-boot, this is the perfect weekend for this occasion. What's left over take to charity. Things that are sentimental and are small and flat, scrapbooking is a great way to hold your memories close.
