Delivery and Collection to Brickhouse Vineyard

We don't get to blog often but this time it's Tania doing the Blog. I had the great opportunity to go out on site with Phil to do a small collection and delivery from Virginias Vintage Hire, where you can hire timeless furniture for any occasion. The props were a couple of shutters which acted as a beautiful backdrop for a wedding ceremony.

Virginas Vintage Hire are based locally to ourselves. Founded in 2012, Virginias Vintage Hire was created to meet the needs of those looking to create individual and unforgettable weddings, parties and events with stylish, imaginative, one-of a kind furniture items and accessories. Their collection have grown rapidly to supply to a high profile client list, film and TV sets, luxury brand events and furnished some truly stunning weddings and parties yet remain firmly grounded and true to homespun values of mindful living and simplicity. They continue to work from their small estate workers cottage in the Devon countryside.

These are the beautiful Eleanor Shutters we delivered to Brickhouse for the ceramoney.

Collection is always smooth, Ginny and Greg are so attentive and friendly, and always with a smile. We have transported many items over the years for Virginas Vintage Hire and have been to many beautiful locations where their props are being used. Wedding, Parties, celebrations, the list goes on. Usually Leon goes out on site with Phil for these services, but on this occasion I thought I would come along as it had been a long long time since we'd done a job like this together. No photos of me as usual as i'm always behind the camera.

Delivering the shutters to Brickhouse Vineyard went smoothly with a friendly welcome. Following their hearts, in 2015, they left London to pursue their dream: to create something new and unusual in a perfect rural setting for those looking for a Devon venue for special events, and at the same time produce some amazing wine. A driving motivation for them was to create a rural family business that would not only provide a better environment for their growing family, but also provide a better work-life balance.

Welcoming guests and have no doubt that you’ll enjoy the space we have created, and maybe sample some of our delicious wines too whilst overlooking the slopes on which they are grown. Sitting on the landscaped terrace, overlooking the vines, and the rolling Devon hills makes it an idyllic spot for Micro Weddings and larger celebrations in the Barn.

It was nice that I didn't have to lift a finger to help, just take pictures of Phil doing all the hard work. I spend so much time behind the computer talking to you the customer and dealing with all enquiries, it's easy to forget how we started doing all the collection and deliveries together. Well... I was fitter then, hence the taking photos only.

Off to do a full house removals tomorrow

Such a beautiful location, and to tie it all in beautifully with Virginas Collections, it's sure to be the event of dreams. The rain kept an eye out for us as it only poured when we were in the vehicle, other than that the sun shone intermittently for us on collection and loading. Delivering the Shutters back was as simple and straight forward as always and another days work. It's a good job that Phil and I love what we do. Here's to me getting out of the office again for the opportunity to get out and do another blog for you all.
